So, who am I and what is this site about? Good questions and once I have the answers I’ll let you know.
I once described my self if a poem as:
An Alice lost in her own Wonderland.
And in many respects that is still true. We never quite know where life is going to take us next and who we’ll be once we’ve experienced.
But I know that there’s little point in waiting to begin, as life has a nasty habit of happening while you’re not looking.
So this site is about me, making the most of the time available and ensuring that everyone and a while I take some time to stand and stare.
What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this is if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.
